Hello!! If you are new here….WELCOME!! If you’re not, just skip this top part! I have officially decided that Fridays will now, and forevermore, be known as free-for-all Fridays. This little blog of mine is dedicated to teaching you all how to document your days through your camera (I have loads of tips for that here!). There are some times though, that I want to share other stuff!! A product I love, a DIY I am excited about, parenting-ish tips, recipes, or somethingtotally random. So, now, I can use Fridays for that!!

I love slow cooker recipes (this is my slow cooker, and I love that it is programmable, and has a few different settings. I also love that it has the clasps on the side so that you can secure it if you travel to a pot luck or something) !! Here are a couple of recipes I’ve posted chicken chili, enchilada soup, pulled pork, or something else??
As with many of these recipes, I have made ham bbq many times in a pan, and used the crock pot to keep it warm. This time though, I decided to forgo the pan, and dump all of this goodness into the crock pot. Once again, my crock pot did not fail me!! Dinner was completely ready in time for an early dinner, the kids were fed, and happy, and we managed to finish homework and after school activities with minimal chaos!
easy tangy ham bbq wraps
ingredients
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
3 TBSP butter
3 TBSP brown sugar
3 TBSP bbq sauce
1 TBSP mustard
2 TBSP white vinegar
1 pound chopped ham chipped
grab the ham, and stick on a cutting board and chop it up a bit more. add it to the crock pot and break up the butter tossing it randomly over the ham. dump the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and give it a good stirring. pour over the ham, give it a quick mix, and you’re done!! 30 minutes to an hour before serving stir once more. cook on low 6-8 hours, and high for 3-4 hours. you’re really just trying to heat through, so this recipe could take significant’y less time. the longer it sits though, the more the flavor soaks in, making it even more delicious! once you’re ready to eat, slap it on a wrap, and enjoy!! we ate ours with sweet potato fries because i am kind of obsessed with them!
xoxo,
lorrin
