cheesy crock pot lasagna

November 9, 2015 by lorrin sell Leave a Comment

13 days left in this crock pot series.  i can honestly say that if i hadn’t made a promise to you all over a week ago, i’m quite certain we would have eaten a whole lotta junk while rushing around after school.  so, i just want to say a great big thank you to you all!!

on to the recipe…  lasagna is a pain in the butt to make.  so many steps, not enough time.  i’m totally diggin’ this recipe because it was all done in less than 15 minutes.  no boiling water, no laying out noodles.  ANNDDDD definitely one of the best lasagnas i have ever had.  hands down.

ingredients

about 8 uncooked lasagna noodles

1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce

2 cups ricotta chesse

3/4 cup parm cheese

1 egg

1 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 TBSP italian seasoning

2 TBSP garlic powder

spray crock pot with cooking spray.  in a medium bowl mix together cheeses, egg, italian seasoning, and garlic powder.  spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the crock pot.  follow that layer with a single layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.  you will need to break up the noodles a bit to make them fit.  next comes a layer of the cheese mixture.   repeat each layer (sauce, noodles, cheese, noodles, sauce), ending with a third layer of sauce, making sure the last layer of sauce covers the noodles completely.  cook on low 4-6 hours.  30 minutes prior to serving, sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
