another day, another full schedule. i started this project about a week ago because things are in full swing with my photography business. we are always pretty busy, but the last three months of the year, are just insane! i can’t even begin to express how much this little crock pot project has saved us the last week or so. we’ve managed to stay away from fast food. hooray!! today’s recipe is not the most healthy, but oh my word, so good!! there were no leftovers AT ALL!!
crock pot loaded baked potato soup
ingredients
1 bag frozen diced potatoes
3.5 cups chicken broth
1 TBSP garlic salt
1 cup velveeta cheese cut up
1 brick of cream cheese
pay close attention here because these directions are so tough…
are you ready?…
put everything but the cream cheese in the crock pot (this is the one we have). cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours. 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, cut the cream cheese up, and add it to the crock pot, stirring here and there to make sure it warms and mixing in there nicely.
garnish with bacon, shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
ridiculously easy, right???
xoxo,
lorrin
