10 fun mud activities for kids

June 7, 2017 by lorrin sell Leave a Comment

Dirty kids are really no stranger to our house.  Our kids play hard and get dirty, a lot.  What they don’t typically get to play in is mud which pretty much means mud activities for kids are about the coolest thing ever!

I swear they can sniff it out since it’s a treat when I let them get nice and muddy.  I actually caught the 2 youngest under the trampoline where all the grass is dead digging in the mud the other day.  They had buckets, shovels, and all kinds of other tools.

Normally, I would stop them (since they were really doing a number on our year- even if it was under the trampoline), but I decided to let it go that day.  They were under there for over an hour.  An hour of entertaining themselves without an electronic device is a win in my book!

June 29th is International Mud Day!  Can you believe a day actually exists for mud?  Well, it does!

International Mud Day is a day for children all over the world to celebrate nature, and the fun of making a mess by getting really muddy.  Is there a better excuse to let your kids get nice and muddy??!!

I love these Kleenex Go Anywhere packets.  They have a cute ribbon on them with a snap.  This makes it easy for me to keep them on the outside of my bag, so I don’t have to dig around for them when I need them.

Goodness knows, I don’t want to dig in my bag when I’ve got a mess to clean up quickly!  Bonus!!  You can get $.50 cash back on your Kleenex Go Anywhere Purchase from Ibotta.  I got mine at Walmart in the Kleenex aisle. June 29th is international mud day! let your kids get muddy with these super fun mud activities for kids!
