diy spring wreath

March 19, 2017 by lorrin sell 1 Comment

Deciding to decorate the house for spring on a budget, has made me really think creatively.  I was seriously so excited when this idea came to me, and I was really hoping it would work out.  And, guess what, I managed to make the easiest DIY spring wreath ever!  What’s even cooler is what it is made out of, and that I managed to finish the whole DIY spring wreath in about 30 minutes.  Which means–  my kids didn’t have enough time to completely trash the house while I was making it!  Even better, since I made these DIY moss covered eggs, I didn’t have to buy anything to make this DIY spring wreath.  I had everything in the house already.  #winning

  • glue gun
  • glue sticks
  • spanish moss (natural brownish color)
  • green moss
  • spray adhesive
  • jute

  3. Once I filled the wreath with the Spanish moss, I sprayed the adhesive glue over it to sort of seal it.This DIY spring wreath is so pretty, and I can't believe she made it with a pool noodle! How awesome is that?!!
  4. The I filled in and bare spots with the green moss to add some more color, and fill it in.This DIY spring wreath is so pretty, and I can't believe she made it with a pool noodle! 5. Next, wrap the jute around the wreath to add a little more texture, and to sort of secure the moss a little better to the wreath. This DIY spring wreath is so pretty, and I can't believe she made it with a pool noodle! How awesome is that?!!

That’s it!  That’s about as easy it gets.  Give it some time to dry, and hang it up.  What do you think?
