1. Reverse Charades (all ages)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

It’s charades but instead of acting out your card alone, you act it out as a group.  This is perfect if you have little ones that want to play, but aren’t quite ready to play alone.

2. Beat the Parents (ages 6 and up)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

Parents ask the kids grown up questions, and kids ask the grown ups kid questions.  Just fun to play against each other!!

3. Watch Ya mouth (ages 8+) Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

Players wear cheek retractors while trying to say phrases and letting the other players guess what they’re saying.  Hilarious!!!!

4. Popdarts (all ages)

Compete to get your popdarts closest to the marker.  Super fun for indoors or outdoors and gets them moving!

5. Pie Face Showdown (all ages)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

It doesn’t get much easier, or sillier than this.  Players try to “pie” their opponents with whipped cream.  The player that doesn’t get pied wins!

6. Guess Who (ages 6+)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

Love this game, AND the fact that most of the pieces minus the deck of cards are connected (less things to lose!).  Pretty quick, and easy to play.  It’s a great game when you’re running short on time, but you want to squeeze in some fun.  Players take turns trying to guess who is on their opponents hidden card.

7. Tapple Word game (ages 8+)

Fast-paced, fun,  word-game that ALSO secretly works on vocabulary. (wink!)

8. Clue (ages 8+)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

This has always been one of my favorites, and the kids love it!  This particular version has two “crime scenes”.

9. Life Junior (ages 5+)Board games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

Life Junior makes it possible to have fun playing this game even with your littlest kiddos.

10. Briarpatch Scavenger Hunt for KidsBoard games are a great way to spend time as a family. These are the best board games for families with kids of all ages.

Kids get to have a scavenger hunt in their own home.  They move spaces for things they find, and extra spaces for things they put back where they belong.

11. What Do You Meme? Family Edition (Ages 8+)

Super fun and funny! Everyone chooses a caption to go with the photos and then the judge chooses the funniest one.

12. Blokus

Great strategy game that kind of resembles Tetris.  Quick play time, too!

13. Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza (all ages)

Hilarious, fast-paced card game.

14. Throw Throw Burrito (ages 7+)

Another fast-paced card game, but this one adds a dodgeball component!

15. Buildzi (ages 6+)

Fun building game.  Make your tower before anyone else!

16. Ticket to Ride (ages 8+)

Strategically create train routes across the country.

BONUS!!  Here are some games that are fun for NO KIDS game nights!

  1. INCOHEARANT– HILARIOUSLY repeat the gibberish until you figure out the phrase.

  2. Cards Against Humanity– fill in the blanks and let the judges decide which choice is the best.  Super funny!!

  3. What Do You Meme- Adult Version– Same as the family edition but some captions are rated R.

  4. Off Topic– Write answers around a specific topic with a given letter.

  5. Telestrations: After Dark– Draw what you see and what you thought you saw.  Too funny!

Do you have a favorite board game?  Did it make it on the list?  Share your favorite in the comments!
