I’ve never been much of a New Year’s resolution person. I just don’t have great willpower. Maybe I should make that my resolution. Ha! BUT.. A few years ago, I started picking New Year words or a Word of the Year to start the year. The idea is you choose a word, not a resolution, that reflects the kind of year you are hoping to have.
In the past, I have chosen ambition, persevere, and hope. Of course, I have chosen based on what I wished I had “done better” in the previous year. Or I look ahead to what is coming, and choose a word that is going to help me with that journey.
The best part of choosing New Year words is the time you spend thinking about your hopes and aspirations for the new year. So, check out the list, and take some time choosing the one that’s right for you. While you think about it, we are here to help you come up with some words.
