i fully admit, any chance i get, that i am a terrible baker. i am all about a box of cake mix, or brownie mix. at times, even those aren’t easy enough for me. (i’m pretty talented at making cheesecakes…that’s another post though.) betcha this pie ends up at half of your houses this Christmas season. it’s seriously the best pie ever. hands down. 10 minutes to the perfect pie. boom! insanely lucky for me because i had planned to bring something different for thanksgiving dinner, and i ended up having to come up with something else last minute. this pie was gone in minutes. every. last. piece.
the world’s easiest peanut butter pie
ingredients
1 premade graham cracker crust (if you’re feeling brave, you can always make it yourself…but i bought mine, because it doesn’t get any easier than that!)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 brick softened cream cheese
1 tup of cool whip
1/3 cup confectioners sugar
crushed mini peanut butter cups for embellishing
in a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened cream cheese (the softer the better), and the sugar. beat until creamy. once the peanut butter, cream cheese, and sugar are super creamy and there are no lumps, fold in the cool whip. spread the filling into the pie crust. top with peanut butter cups. refrigerate until set.
