Well, the Steelers may not be in the Super Bowl leaving a lot of people around me very sad, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be lots of people won’t be partying! I may not be a huge football fan but I am a fan of football food. These boneless BBQ wings are a huge hit in our house. I actually stuck them on a platter the last time I made them, and they were gone in no time. Three pounds of chicken is a lot, so it’s a perfect appetizer to take to the Super Bowl party, but you could always make half of this too. If I’m going to take the time to make something like this, I always make more since I know it won’t go to waste.
A few weeks ago, I had a craving for boneless BBQ wings. We ordered takeout, and I kid you not, the sweet boneless BBQ wings I ordered nearly melted my lips off. NOT sweet. At all. Since that didn’t curb my craving, I figured I would just make my own. When I decide to make something like this, I usually take a peek at a couple of recipes and then pick and choose what I like best. The fact that I decided to “bread” the chicken with chips was a total last minute decision (and a stroke of genius), when I saw the chips sitting there.
The first time I made these, I tried to fry them before putting them in the oven, but it was totally unnecessary, and a step I skipped the second time I made these. They were even better just baked, than they were when they were fried, and then baked. And, it made less mess, made them healthier, and took less time. #winning

Boneless Sweet BBQ wings
Clean your chicken, and cut it up. Then coat it with flour, dip in egg, and toss in crushed baked BBQ chips- kind of like the whole shake and bake idea.
Put your chicken on a baking sheet, and bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes, turning it over once.
Pour homemade barbecue sauce over top of chicken, and stir to make sure it’s all coated well.
