Our family loves a good water park, and we are all about finding the best ones wherever we are. As the kids get older, looking for awesome water parks to visit kids in the US (we don’t have to worry so much about any of them being too little, and one of us having to stay in the “baby pool” at all times) has become even more fun!

I’ve rounded up some really cool water parks to visit with kids in the US, and added them to our list (in no particular order). Check them out!

Totally Awesome Water Parks to Visit with Kids in the US

1. Avalanche Bay | Michigan

It’s the largest indoor water park hotel in Michigan which means you don’t have to worry about the weather cooperating to have a blast at this one!!

2. The Boardwalk at Hershey Park | Pennsylvania

This amazing water park is definitely one to visit with kids! Your admission ticket covers access to all of Hersey Park not just the water park which pretty much makes it a two-for-one deal. The new Breaker’s Edge Water Coaster looks like SO MUCH fun, and you can fit 4 people on a raft!

3. Splish Splash | New York

This park is crazy cool! It’s over 96 acres, and includes 2 wave pools, and even has a tropical bird show. Looks like this one would take more than one day to make your way through.

4. Great Wolf Lodge | Washington

Another indoor water park that is totally awesome! This one has so much more to offer than just a water park though. There is glow golf, and an arcade, and so much more! You can find Great Wolf Lodges all over the US but attractions can vary. This one looks super fun!

5. Magic Springs | Arizona

Another two-for-one deal! So fun that you get to enjoy some super awesome water park rides, and the amusement park. There is definitely something for everyone here!

6. Typhoon Lagoon | Florida

It’s a DISNEY water park, I can’t imagine anything better…

7. H2OBX | North Carolina

This is a brand-new, huge water park in the Outer Banks. There’s even a flo-rider so you can practice your boogie boarding skills!

8. Legoland Water Park | California

What could POSSIBLY be cooler than a water park “made out of” legos??!! That’s something I’ve gotta see! You can actually build your own lego raft and float down the lazy river.

9. Massanutten Resort | Virginia

This water park has you covered indoors, and outdoors. It was also named one of Parent’s Magazine’s top ten water parks in 2016.

10. Waterville USA | Alabama

Known for having the largest collection of rides on the Gulf coast. This place has everything from water rides, to amusement park rides, to go karts, to an escape room, to a wave pool. Pretty much anything you could want all in one place! Plus, it’s a 1/4 mile from the beach!!
